ABB's High Voltage Products team provides products which help enhance the safety, reliability and efficiency of power networks while minimizing environmental impact. Our technology leadership continues to facilitate developments in areas such as ultra-high-voltage power transmission, enabling smart grids and enhancing eco-efficiency.

Your responsibilities

  • Make FEM simulation and dynamic simulation for the power and automation product aiming at strength verification, structure/function optimization and destroy/problems solving.
  • Contents of simulation include static calculation, vibration/seismic simulation, impact simulation, multi-body dynamic simulation, kinematic chain analysis and optimization, structure optimization and fatigue analysis.
  • Technical support, problems solving and directly involvement in power product R&D project.
  • Write and read technical reports relating to simulation and design.
  • Write articles and papers.
  • Build up network and cooperation with ABB companies in China and abroad.

Your background

  • A Master’s degree or above, major in mechanics, dynamics, mechanical engineering and Related.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in more than one of the fields: Multi-body dynamics, Engineering mechanics, Solid mechanics, Mechanical vibration, Mechanical design and so on.
  • Good skills with more than one of the listed tools: ABAQUS, ANSYS, ADAMS, SIMPACK, Romax, Hypermesh, Matlab, Solidworks, ProE, Ncode, Nastran, Marc.
  • Excellent knowledge of FEA theory.
  • Fluent in written, oral and reading English.
  • Good team player, communication and presentation skills.
  • Like challenges and interested in learning new things/knowledge.
