You will become a part of ABB Robotics in Shanghai. We develop, manufacture and market robots with controllers, software’s and application products. The R&D center in Shanghai needs to strengthen the mechanical design team for developing the future robots.

Your responsibilities

• In this position you will be working in projects with designing advanced robotic system application including gantry, positioner, robot axis or line. In ABB Robotics R&D center in Shanghai we are working in a creative environment. Together with other engineers you will be doing complex CAD modeling.
• To design of the robot system integration mechanism, calculation and strength analysis, testing.
• Together with your colleagues, you will also be focused to make our solutions secured and are cost effective.
• As a mechanical engineer you will cooperate closely with electric engineers, production engineers, mechanical engineers and suppliers in ABB Robotics.

Your background

• Should have a B. Sc or M. Sc degree in mechanical design or related fields.
• Strong skills in solidworks with experience in product development (Preferred).
• Good communicator and a good team player, open to work under pressure.
• Should be good in planning, coordination and presentation with good command of English.
• Should be good in painting technology.
