As a Bioinformatic Scientist in the Genomics R&D group, you will join a highly diversified team responsible for key growth initiatives within Agilent's Genomics business. In this role you will use your scientific, technical and project leadership experience to develop applications, workflows and reagents for Next Generation Sequencing. You will be responsible for the following key areas of contribution:

• All R&D phases related to the commercialization of novel applications, workflows and reagents based on sequencing technologies, while meeting tight timeline and performance requirements

• Plan and execute molecular biology experiments

• Perform complex bioinformatic analysis and interpretation of Next Generation Sequencing data using Python or R

• Provide input on analysis methodologies and data visualization for commercial products
