Job Description

As the Regional Commercial Officer, you will have opportunities to contribute to the success of the World Agency (“WA”) Team in APAC by providing high quality operational support to the Regional Sales and Account Management functions as well as good customer and broker solutions to secure WA Team’s profitable growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Handle Sales Tasks

  • Assist in prospect and client meeting preparation.
  • Assist in preparing offers of World Program (“WP”) by collecting underwriting information, coordinating various internal workflows for commercial approval and preparing / assembling relevant documents including presentations / offers, records and draft Master Agreements.
  • Perform data quality check on internal forms before coordinating workflow with the Operation Desk to secure timely execution and data quality issues.
  • Ensure and control quality and reliability of the “Pluriform” system, ie Euler Hermes contract database, particularly in closing properly “dead” projects.
  • Process in requests to proper recipients and interact with other core functions (ie Risk, Policy Admin, Commercial Team) and other WA regions.

 

2. Handle Post Sales Tasks

  • Give support on the coordination of a WP implementation plan.
  • At implementation, perform data quality check on internal forms before coordinating workflow with the Operation Desk to secure timely execution and data quality issues.
  • Assemble renewal proposal accompanying documents, presentation, records and draft of the offer for the renewal.
  • Ensure and control quality and reliability of the “Pluriform” system, ie Euler Hermes contract database.
  • Process in and external requests to proper recipients, including supporting clients on first level requests and Euler Hermes technical solutions (ex: EOLIS, MTB); interact with other core functions (ie Risk, Claims, Policy Admin, Commercial Team) and other WA regions.

 

3. Provide Administrative Support to Sales and Account Management Teams

  • Assist in Customer Relationship Management, eg data mining, follow-up on sales initiatives and campaigns, update pipeline management tool, etc.
  • Give support to the WA Regional Teams over the policy life cycle, eg visits, preparation of renewals, amendments, termination, etc.
  • Relieve Sales and Account Management Teams from everyday administrative duties.

 

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in any business-related discipline.
  • 3 years’ relevant experience in sales and account management.
  • Able to interact with members of other core functions and WA Teams.
  • Able to work in a structured and efficient way.
  • Good IT knowledge and strong track record in operational execution / excellence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent team player with hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Good command of Cantonese / Mandarin an advantage.
  • Conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Simplified Chinese.
  • Experience in working for MNCs / a multicultural environment a definite advantage.
