Job Description

This position is a technical sales specialist position reporting to Public Sector & Education segment in the Client Computing Business Unit Sales.

Responsible for:

  • Advise and influence end user customers, ISVs, OEMs, SIs and partners by distilling capabilities of Intel platforms (such as vPro and Unite) and translate to the value proposition of procurement vehicles.
  • Understand the business use case and technical merits of our technologies/solutions and determining correct positioning of Intel technologies into procurement language.
  • Support Intel field sales teams in influencing end customers globally.
  • Provide direct technical assistance to Intel field sales teams, customers and partners, interfacing with Sr. technical decision makers for Line of Business and Operational Technology Groups and representing customer market segment requirements back into the business unit for future product planning.

Behavioral traits desired:

  • The candidate must be comfortable providing demos and also at building relationships with the customers in different levels such as CIO/CTO/CISO, understand their needs and winning formula, and influence their direction to achieve their goals.
  • Excellent communications skills to be comfortable to do it in written and verbal form at all levels, including at the CxO level
  • Experience in problem solving leveraging internal and partner resources where and when needed to do what's right for the customer and for the organization.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical fields
  • 5+ years of experience in similar areas and working with:
    • Microsoft suite products, OS, apps and management tools (IT/software remote tools like AMT, CISCO)
    • End customers and/or partners
    • How Public-Sector Organizations do benchmarking, certification, specific to procure client technologies.
    • Client Devices and technologies such as vPro, Security, manageability/AMT, Windows and Intel Core based platforms.
  • Advanced English level

Preferred

  • Knowledge of government and education market procurement processes.
  • Knowledge and contacts in the Intel ecosystem
  • Familiarity with Google Chrome OS
  • Marketing skills (Go-To-Market and Project Management)
