Job Description

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in coordinating a qualitative research project under the School of Nursing and Health Studies. The study adopts face-to-face interviews as data collection method which will be conducted in elderly residential care homes.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:

  • conducting literature reviews;

  • conducting field studies, including data collection and analysis;

  • preparing and compiling research reports; and

  • performing any other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a higher degree in Nursing, Psychology, Health Science, Social Science or a discipline related to healthcare;

  • knowledge of and experience with qualitative research methods would be an advantage;

  • a good command of both English and Chinese;

  • a good team player and able to coordinate research projects independently; and

  • research experience in field site will be an advantage.

Compensation Package
Competitive compensation package including basic salary and end-of-contract gratuity will be provided to the right candidate. Fringe benefits such as annual leave, staff development leave, staff learning and development sponsorship and medical & dental benefits will also be provided.
