The Retail Operations Manager, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is responsible for retail and wholesale forecasting / planning for 1,750 vehicles; and managing/overseeing the input and specification of stock vehicles for the US, Canada Brazil, Chile and Mexico.

 She/He will be responsbile for developing retail incentive programs for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, NA; coordinating activities with FS colleagues to achieve maximum support; managing VDC, event and stock vehicles; and supporting the Vice President, Sales, in all aspects of Sales.

The Retail Operations Manager will:


  • Develop retail incentive programs for RRMC NA to include budget approval for each program; communicating the programs to the dealer network both directly and via the Regional Sales Managers; and updating programs as required to give added incentive
  • Calculate “fair and equitable” allocation of cars to dealers and provide factory feedback.
  • Manage the Retail Operations Specialist to create tracking reports to keep the Dealers informed and motivated to reach / over-achieve their targets; and ensure target inventory levels are met and regional sales and strategy focus is improved.
  • Interface with various BMW NA FS and RRNA FS process partners.  
  • Responsible for the Auction, off lease process and New/ Used residuals/ rates – developing FS programs and getting budget approval for these.  
  • Management of the timely and effective disposal of Buy backs, hotel and fleet cars.
  • Calculating and verifying the month end, quarter end and year end results in terms of sales volumes and bonus eligibility by Dealer; working with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate sales records and bonus accruals are made for the North America region.
  • Bachelor’s degree


Preferences

  • 5+ years of automotive experience
  • Knowledge of ultra luxury automotive business
  • Understanding of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars business, product and franchised Dealer network
  • Understanding of Retail Operations and Dealer motivation to create effective sales incentive programs
  • Knowledge of logistics and fleet management and order to production pipeline timescales
  • Ability to effectively manage a small team
