- US company
- EMS electronic manufacturing service company
- Factory : Dongguan Changping 8000 workers
- We offer electronics manufacturing services to customers in the United States, Europe, Japan and Asia Pacific.
- We provide lifecycle manufacturing services to support the manufacturing of electronics, including to OEMs, ODMs, printed circuit board assemblers, and systems assemblers.
- We also manufactures end products that include Bluetooth transmitters/receivers, electronic games, communications base stations, automotive electronics, and consumer products.
- We are looking for SENIOR PURCHASING MANAGER – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Report to Purchasing Director
- Lead both HK Purchasing Team (10 members) + China Purchasing Team
- Skill in contract negotiation with strategy partner
- Manage team members to make sure efficiency of purchase process, source better suppliers for current projects in order to achieve continuously cost reduction & provide competitive offer on our suggested alternative
- Closely monitor routine operation and system enhancement
- Supplier rating , supplier chain flow, market research, trend, lean, value engineering, total cost of ownership analysis
- Analyze information to assess root cause , improvement opportunities and associated risk for source
- Manage , develop skills, capabilities of the team members in HK and China
- Bachelor degree preferably in Purchasing/Business/Engineering/Manufacturing or relevant disciplines
- Minimum 10 years solid experience in procurement / purchasing; of which over 5 years in managerial level at electronic manufacturing
- Experience in MNC/sizable electronic manufacturers is highly prefer
- Excellent communication and demonstrated leadership skills
- Fluency in English , Cantonese and Putonghua
- 50% time work in HK office; 50% time work in Dongguan factory (shuttle bus transportation provided)
- 5 days work
