- Main items : lighting products & systems including both indoor & outdoor lighting

- We are looking for SENIOR QA ENGINEER – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Assure the quality of finished and semi-finished products from Mainland Chinese suppliers.
- Perform factory audits and inspections with 3rd party service providers
- Support the European project team with technical knowledge and quality control acumen from conceptual stage to final production stage
- Coordination of 3rd party audit and inspection process by reviewing factory quality audit and inspection report and implementing corrective actions with factories
- Monitor and drive the quality improvement of samples
- Coordinate and potentially resolve difficulties in design manufacturing with project management team in European HQ and manufacturers in Mainland China
- Conduct factory audits and inspection where necessary
- Conduct on-line inspections during pilot-runs and 1st mass-productions
- Discuss and coordinate quality claims with suppliers and local sourcing team as well as project management team at European HQ
- Initiate and monitor "Correction Action Requests" in the sequence of quality claims
- Tertiary education in electrical or mechanical engineering or relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a QA/QC role within electronics industry best with lighting industry
- Prior work experience in European companies is highly prefer
- Experience in European market is highly prefer
- Hands-on experience on product risk assessment and evaluation
- Proficient in MS office tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge in CAD data verification, STP data verification and CAM350 or any Gerber file viewer software is a plus (not a must)
- Familiar with European regulations and safety standards, e.g. LVD, EMC, RoHS, REACH, etc.
- Regular China trip to Mainland suppliers is required (around 40% travelling)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English
- 5 days work
