- We design, manufacture, engineer and install cabling & fiber optic products and associated equipment especially for data center or datacom for over 70 years history
- We are looking for SOLUTION ENGINEER - with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Report to the Engineering Manager
- Solution Engineer is a technical role to work out product solutions to fulfill customer requirement, provide technical consultancy and proposal, train up product distribution channels as well as after sales technical support.
- This role will be assigned as technical owner of specific accounts and take accountability of all customer facing technical solutions.
- Work closely with commercial team to develop APAC business
- Direct contact with customer technical team to help understanding product and technologies
- Work with internal teams to fulfill project delivery successfully
- Talking to consultants to present advantages of solution and spec in projects
- Provide technical training to customers including distributors, system integrators/installers and end users
- Hands on practical product installation and provide feed back potential problems in features and functions
- Collect and analyze products/solution information from the market to assists competition
- Post-sales technical support including trouble shooting, installation training etc.
- Degree holder
- 5 years in cabling industry
- Experience as installer/consultant in data center and datacom will be a plus
- 2 years as team leader
- MS Office; basic skill in Autocad
- Proficient in English, Chinese and Mandarin
- Ability to travel when required
- Office location : Sheung Wan
