Job description

• Conceptional definition and development of VHDL-Modules and generic elements for FPGA- and SoC-Designs

• Creation of simulation testbenches for functional verification on module-level with VHDL (OSVVM/VUnit) and/or Specman e

• Simulation of developed modules with QuestaSim

• Creation of specification and documentation for the developed modules

• Support of PCDB-Developers for board-design

Requirement: 

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Communication Technology or comparable degree, with at least 2 years professional experience.

• OnChip Communication-Protocols like AHB, AXI, NoC and Off-Chip Protocols like PCIe, Ethernet, SPI, CAN.

• Solid Experience with VHDL and basic experience with Verilog/AHDL

• Experience with Mentor ModelSim, QuestaSim or Incisive/Xcelium

• Experienced with Vendor Tools (Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus, Lattice Diamond)

• Version Management SVN or GIT

• Experience with agile development

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Creativity, strong analytical thinking and team spirit

• Willingness to travel for bringup, 4-6 weeks maximum 2-3 times per year
