- We are looking for SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER - with details as follows :
JOB SUMMARY :
- Supplier Quality Engineer to drive and maintain our manufacturing quality standards at our ODM/OEM partners.
- The successful candidate will ensure continued ODM/OEM compliance against our product specifications and quality objectives, while tracking continuous manufacturing improvements on sustaining products.
- The ideal candidate is someone with a deep understanding of high volume (>1M/month) contract manufacturing, product reliability, quality and manufacturing process development.
DETAILS :
- Train and sustain ODM/OEM personnel on Corporate Lighting expectations and process.
- Support Supply Quality Manager (SQM) on new product launches.
- Manage Incoming Quality Control (IQC) correlation between Corporate Lighting and ODM/OEM partners.
- Oversee the IQC and IPQC test/inspection capability, including equipment, fixtures, and operators.
- Monitor product yield; audit the ODM/OEM 's quality management system, identifying any risks and obtaining corrective actions from the ODM/OEM.
- Manage the Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) sampling plans and procedures.
- Review ORT results and work with reliability team for any follow up actions at ODM/OEM.
- Drive the Close Loop Corrective Action (CLCA) for quality alerts.
- Drive continuous improvement plans for sustaining products.
- 8 years or above experience in high volume manufacturing with emphasis on sustaining product quality with ODM/contract manufacturing partners
- Knowledge of PCBA and final assembly processes for consumer electronics.
- Good knowledge in ISO9001 / ISO14001 / TS16949 latest version.
- Experience in LED lighting is a plus
- Experience in multinational/US/European companies is a plus
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
- BS degree in Electrical, Electronic, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering is highly prefer
- Ability to scale and develop ODM / OEM quality teams.
- 5 days work (Mon to Fri 9am-6pm)
- 25-30% time travelling (half of the travel time can be a day trip to Shenzhen)
