About the role:

Scientist I, Molecular Biology (laboratory manager) will be in charge of general laboratory management and housekeeping responsibilities. This will be a self-organized individual with developed communication skills. Scientist I will be primarily based in laboratory and as such, will have strong experience in Molecular Biological techniques and will be comfortable and familiar with this environment. Laboratory manager will participate in internal and external audits and maintain laboratory compliance to the ISO 13485 and other applicable standards.

Responsibilities:

• Performs laboratory management duties, such as equipment maintenance, reagents inventory and purchasing, general housekeeping.
• Delegates simple routine laboratory management tasks to interns and monitors their executions.
• Assists in representing the team during internal and external audits, implements changes based on the audit findings and communicates changes to the team.
• Proposes and implements changes to existing procedures to improve efficiency of laboratory operation.
• May assist scientists in their experimentation.
• Possesses prior laboratory experience with single- and multi-channel pipettes, centrifuges, weighing scale.
• Possesses computer skills and can manage and analyze simple data sets.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures following research and development scientific standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Required –Bachelors in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Science or similar. Experience working in the industry settings is preferred.
