How will you make an impact?
 
The Scientist II, R&D position is responsible for execution of new product through development and design transfer phases of the design control phase gates.
 
What will you do?
 
 

  • Develop and transfer manufacturing process, immunoassay, and testing procedures as part tech transfer activities
  • Execute manufacturing process optimization and design of experiments on non-routine laboratory work using a variety of equipment and instrumentation
  • Technical support for various methods and for procedures and processes requiring evaluation and judgment with the assistance of a Sr. Scientist
  • Prepare new and update existing procedures
  • Demonstrate good cross-functional working relationship
  • Demonstrate good flexibility with changes to working environment and deliver high quality results
  • Communicate to peers in a timely fashion
  • Compile, analyze data, and compose reports as required
 
How will you get here?

Education 
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline
 
Experience 
 
  • 1-2 years diagnostic industry experience
 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
 
 
  • Demonstrated ability for technical proficiency, scientific creativity, problem solving skills, collaboration with other departments
  • Ability to present and communicate (oral and written) information in a clear manner
  • Computer skills such as Word and Excel
 
 
Preferred Qualifications
 
 
  • Experience with LC-MS or HPLC
  • Experience in formulation or design transfer
  • In vitro diagnostic experience
