As a Senior Accountant, you will join a very stable team of 6 colleagues focusing on all accounting and finance job duties. More experienced candidates will be offered an Assistant Manager title.

My client is a highly established retail company that has been operating in Hong Kong for more than 100 years. They are seeking warm and ambitious candidates to join their family business and drive new business within the company.

Description

• Be responsible for all finance and accounting functions in a team of 6
• Handle daily accounting functions and cash management
• Participate in month end closing and reporting
• Prepare various management reports, budget and variance analysis
• Drive new initiatives within the business, seeing which areas to expand/improve
• Other ad hoc projects as required

Profile

• Bachelors degree within accounting and or finance or other relevant disciplines
• At least 5 years relevant experience preferably within the retail/trading industry
• Able to work well in a stable team, adapt to current company practices yet at the same time not afraid to drive business change when necessary
• Highly motivated, positive and looking to develop their career for the long term at the company
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin
