Key Responsibilities

• Being the key point-of-contact between top manufacturing clients and the company driving operational excellence / lean process initiatives underpinned by cutting-edge smart manufacturing solution
• Unlocking the full potential of process improvement by combining lean management and data & tech-driven process optimization
• Becoming an essential driver of strategically important customer process improvement projects by facilitating the roll-out, implementation as well as the adoption of the companies’ innovative smart manufacturing solution in combination with lean consulting
• Developing profound expertise of the company’s solution as well as broad know-how around how to integrate with customers’ existing landscape
• Creating effective and trustworthy relationships between the company and customers
• Continuously liaising with customers and internal company stakeholders to re-assess and improve the solution scope and requirements housed within a systematic collaboration framework
• Steering digital solution development through requirements gathering, acting as a conduit between product and clients
• Working closely together with highly-innovative, multidisciplinary teams to validate concepts and digital solutions being developed for the shop floor
• Acting as the companies’ consulting thought-leader, facilitating the development and improvement of processes and methodology while also driving the sharing of best-practices 

Key Requirements

• Experience in process improvement, lean consulting, operational excellence in production/manufacturing environment (ideally, with a focus on process industry and continuous manufacturing)
• Sound knowledge of one or more of the following process improvement methodologies: lean, kaizen, 6s, continuous improvement
• Good understanding of systems, processes, tools, and technologies in the manufacturing area / on the shop floor paired with deep interest in IoT, industrial automation, digital production, smart manufacturing and industry 4.0
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to business & customer stakeholders
• Compelling stakeholder management skills from C-Level to Operator - both within the company and on client-side
• Combining technology, manufacturing, process and business mindset with a consultative approach
• Strong customer-focus and analytical mindset
• Very good German and English skills required, additional language on a good level is a plus
• Passion to stay up-to-date on the latest tech trends & developments in lean & process consulting, industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing, shopfloor management
• Interest to become a pioneer working in a ConsulTech company combining business and process acumen, with latest technology understanding and hands-on implementation work
