Job Description

Job Duties

  • To provide daily Service Desk, IT Helpdesk and Engineering support
  • Coordinate End User PC standards development and operational roadmap planning with the appropriate internal teams and suppliers (outsourcing partner, software & hardware partners) relating to services for delivered to the enterprise
  • Coordinate End User PC related activities such as project planning, resource estimation, enterprise communications, technology pilots, and production deployments/upgrades with the appropriate internal teams and suppliers
  • Support all End User PC related activities pertaining to day to day operations for all services specified in previous sections and managing within a Service Lifecycle framework and adhering to ITIL methodologies, processes, and toolsets 
  • To ensure all contractual obligations are being met as well as management of SLAs ensuring SLAs commitments are made to the business, as well as completing RCAs and have appropriate action plans in place as required 
  • Ensure appropriate reporting and metrics are being delivered to Manager 
  • Analysing, solving technical problems regularly and identify trends for recurring problems, if any, and reduce or eliminate such problems.
  • Coordinate with PC and mobile device vendor/partner to deliver quality IT service 
  • Analysing user requirements, existing system work flows and procedures
  • Assisting users by providing training and clarification of problems
  • Exercising responsibility for user liaison 
  • Lead and train junior staff on business and technical knowledge 
  • Reviewing and documenting the Helpdesk Operation Manual and user guides.
  • Improving on the End User Services knowledge base, co-ordinate with other team members to provide solid & smart solutions on typical problems of PC and mobile device environment.
  • Provide Senior Executive Support

  • To maintain good user satisfaction level 
  • Attainment of objectives and adherence to both deadlines and procedures of work

 

Communication Requirements:

  • Coordinate End User PC standards development, enterprise communications, and operational roadmap planning with the appropriate internal teams, i.e. End User Department, Technical Services team, application services team, TSS and countries IT. 
  • Coordinate End User PC related activities such as project planning, resource estimation, technology pilots, and production deployments/upgrade to suppliers or service providers (outsourcing partner, software & hardware partners) relating to services for delivered to the enterprise  

 

Job Requirements:

  • 5 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years' experience is at the supervisory level
  • Good technical skill and support experience on O365 and its application
  • Good level of knowledge on LAN, WAN, AD and Desktop application support
  • Effective communication and good people skill
  • Full technical capability in responsible area
  • Problem solving / leadership skills
  • Technical training techniques
  • Experience on Asset Inventory control & Project management
