• Set up strategic medical information plan with each disease/product medical manager
• In collaboration with GMI, develop and/or localize/translate Standard Response Documents based on the frequently asked questions (FAQs) and insights from KMEs and be in alignment with local process and regulations for responding to unsolicited questions, complete annual update, which can address more than 80% KMEs concerns.
• Communicate with field medical team to engage in the local knowledge repository maintenance update medical information timely to support field medical personnel for the updated scientific information.
• Complete promotional materials review and confirm scientific validity and quality of promotional materials also provide effective promotional materials review guidance training.
• Initiate and lead medical innovative projects and leverage multi-channel resources and digital technologies to support KMEs for the therapeutic choice and patient identification.
• Respond to escalated unsolicited, Medical Information inquiries from the regional contact center
• Collaborate with GMI on the execution of the Quality Monitoring program for the Regional Contact Center and related Medical Information activities
• Compile actionable Medical Information insights and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders. Collaboration with GMI on training of regional contact center agents
• Staff the medical information booth at congresses

• Medical or scientific qualification
• Master degree or above is preferred
• 3+ years medical information working experience is required
• Related clinical experience is preferred
• Innovative attitude is required
• Good team player, fits in the environment with international, diverse, teamwork culture
• Strong customer orientation, science based
• People management experience is required or highly preferred
• Understanding of and adherence to regulatory policies governing scientific interactions with physicians and patients

Under the direction of the Head of Medical China, the (Sr.) Manager, Medical Information is primarily responsible for the generation of standard and customized medical information content to fulfill unsolicited Medical Information requests from healthcare professionals (HCPs) and non-HCPs for assigned product(s). The (Sr.) Manager also handles promotional review of assigned materials, responds to escalated inquiries, leads projects, and serves as the local Med Info lead collaborating with Global Medical Information (GMI). This role has local oversight of Medical Information Quality and Compliance and provides valuable, strategic Medical Information to external customers in support of Biogen marketed and pipeline products.

This position would suit a medical educated and experienced medical information candidate with a strong scientific background, meticulous working attitude and good communication skills in English and in Chinese.
