RSA has multiple Product Groups of which NetWitness is a flagship product in the SIEM domain. RSA is looking for a Software Engineer who has a passion for coding and developing next generation cloud applications to help accelerate NetWitness in its cloud transformation journey. This role requires design thinking to build applications for great user experience, large scale and high availability and is ideal for self-motivated professionals who can learn on the go, improvise and deliver enterprise class products in an agile manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely in a highly AGILE environment with a team of software engineers on RSA NetWitness Software suite. 
• Understand the full feature set/ implementation and architecture of the NetWitness Solution
• Review product evolution and map new features to ongoing releases.
• Analyze business goals and product requirements and contribute to application architecture design, development and delivery.
• Collaborates with Sr. Technical Architect on recommendations to application design, development, integration and performance tuning.

• Identifies and eliminates performance bottlenecks and makes performance-related recommendations (hardware, software, configuration).
• Leads or participates in the software development lifecycle, which includes research, new development, modification, security, reuse, re-engineering and maintenance of software products.
• Gathers business requirements and participates in product definition and feature prioritization, including customer usability studies.
• Performs competitive analysis for features at a product level scope.  Creates technical documentation of software products/solutions.
• Assists with the development and review of end user and technical end user documentation.
• Drives idea generation for new software products, or for the next version of an existing product with Focus on Customer centric solutions,
• Responsible for the delivery of products within budget, schedule and quality guidelines.
• Designs and develops major functional or performance enhancements for existing products, or produces new software products or tools. 
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered applications to be hosted on AWS using serverless architecture and other cloud deployment models.
• Deliver product / features that are highly scalable, secure, high-available, high performing and cost-effective.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across GEOs.
• Work independently and effectively within and across teams.

Essential Requirements:

• 14+ years of experience architecting and building web applications using Java, JS, Spring, MVC etc in both on-prem and cloud deployment models
• SME in front-end technologies like JS, NodeJs, React, Angular, Emberjs, ExtJs etc.
• Good understanding of commonly used AWS services and tools – Cognito, DynamoDB , ElasticSearch, AppSync, Lambda, API Gateway, AWS SDK, CloudFormation, CodeDeploy etc
• Strong experience working as a front end architect, UI/UX development with ability to handle full stack.
• Concept to design to implementation successfully - reporting based Rich Internet Applications on AWS or any cloud infrastructure
• Familiar with tools and techniques to benchmark performance and scale and design applications that can be tuned based on spike and scale.
• Proficient with microservices and building high performant, scalable applications
• Strong Debugging, problem solving and RCA skills
• Highly Analytical, ability to make data based design and implementation tradeoffs.
• Good understanding of business needs and PLC in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Lean Agile development experience and good knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD
• Software Development Experience in Security domain / products, a big PLUS

Education        :           Masters or Bachelor degree in Engineering (CS, ECE, IT)

Experience      :           14+ Years experience preferably in enterprise product companies
