The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the smooth running of the planning tools deployed on the 3RS Project including a shared database server which allows members of the planning team to manage the planning of various contracts for which they are responsible. To maintain the integrity of the database and facilitate cross-project reporting, certain global data structures within P6 are required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide General Primavera P6 support and administration of the server based P6 application including access rights and maintaining data structures
• Update and maintain Procedure, practice note, guidelines, Coding specification, etc. for ongoing adoption by the AAHK planning team
• Maintain data integrity; standardize all programmes (including those from the contractors) to same format to facilitate seamless integration into Master Programme
• Ensure single data source and same approach on specific reporting by all parties
• Provide quick analyses of submitted programmes
• Set up standard tools for analyzing and reviewing contractors’ submitted programmes
• Carry out in-house training for all planners to ensure full capability and consistency in the use of P6
• Set up and implement the use of 4D planning

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in in Civil / Structural Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 10 years’ relevant experience, of which minimum of 6 years should be in project management role
• Member of HKIE or other equivalent professional bodies preferable
• Thoroughly knowledgeable in Primavera P6 scheduling software and related IT applications. Knowledge of other software such as MSP, Asta Power Project is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of BIM is desirable
• Able to produce clear and concise programme analysis reports with suitable annotation/illustration and presentation materials for training and mentoring
• Must have site based experience and knowledge of construction sequencing
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and analytical skills
• Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese; knowledge in Putonghua is an advantage
• Excellent leadership, problem solving and communication skills
