Job Description

Currie & Brown is currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our Hong Kong office. The successful candidate will contribute to the provision of quantity surveying services to Currie & Brown's client.

Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:

• Preparing estimates and cost plans
• Measuring drawings
• Developing the financial aspect of feasibility studies
• Assisting in tendering and procurement of contractors for projects
• Drafting contract documents for projects for the review of seniors/associates
• Monitoring project costs in line with the approved budget
• Assisting in the pricing of variations and the financial aspects of the project change control process
• Assisting in the financial reporting of a project in post-contract phase

Requirements:

• BSc in quantity surveying or equivalent
• MHKIS certified
• A minimum of five years' post qualification consulting experience gained within a global construction consultancy, with exposure to multiple projects
• A minimum of two years' experience on government projects 
• Experience on ASD/EMSD/CEDD projects highly preferred. 
• Well-developed technical kills, for example preparing tender documents, estimates and cost plans, measurement from drawings, etc.
• Passionate about quantity surveying and furthering your career with a leading property consultancy
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong IT skills and high levels of numeracy and literacy
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
