We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Technology Control Manager.

In this role, you will​

  • Oversee the end to end health of the technology control environment
  • Partner with the Chief Information Officer management team to create effective design, analysis and remediation of control measures
  • Instigate and manage initiatives to drive improvements to the technology control environment including the effective design of key controls
  • Provide risk and controls consultancy, advice and guidance to the Chief Information Officer management team
  • Lead the application and critique of the technology risk and controls framework by defining and applying risk and controls standards and processes in order to drive consistency across Technology
  • Partnering with Technology to identify, measure, mitigate, monitor and report Technology's top risks, including new and emerging top risks
  • Ensure the appropriate application of policies control standards and procedures
  • Work with Technology to support internal and external audits and risk related regulatory engagements as the technology controls Subject Matter Expert
  • Oversee the execution and remediation of thematic reviews, investigations and compliance reviews in response to internal or external events within Technology
  • Ensure implementation of robust governance in relation to technology risk and controls and ensuring all stakeholders have visibility of key risks and remediation activity
  • Advocate the desired behavioral changes across the Chief Information Officer community required to mature the understanding and management of technology risk and controls 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements​

  • Strong knowledge and relevant experience preferably in technology risk management and audit
  • Relevant working experience in the Financial Services industry desired
  • Demonstrate a high degree of knowledge across various frameworks and methodologies including Agile, Devops, Business Transformation Framework, Project Management and System Design
  • Deep understanding of application and technology control design such as ISO27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, SOX, payments security etc.
  • Ability to drill down to root cause to write and review clearly articulated risk documentation
  • Able to analyze complex situations, influence strategies with practical, effective solutions
  • Ability to present complex issues confidently and concisely to Technology and Senior Executives and other key stakeholders using nontechnical easily understood language
  • Open personality with effective communication skills
  • Lead and coordinate with colleagues and key stakeholders in an international team
  • Planning and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Degree in information system, computer science, information security, computer engineering or risk management qualifications desirable
  • Certifications CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, COBIT or ITIL desirable
