Our client is a renowned architecture firm in Hong Kong and currently seeking senior architect/chief architect to handle its exciting projects in Hong Kong.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in architecture or relevant qualification
• HKIA or RIBA Registered Architect with over 6 years of post-qualification experience
• Proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English

Responsibilities:

• Lead an Architectural team effectively and proactively under the guidance of the Director, and coordinate with other consultants/engineering disciplines or be a part of that team sharing that responsibility.
• Report to the Director on a regular basis regarding drawing design development issues, design queries, and design coordination issues.
• Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of your drawing work, quality, layout and notes by checking oneself and your teams, before review by the Director, as well as the coordination of drawings amongst the team and other disciplines.
• To alert the Directors when elements of the design or details are not working and offer solutions to these.
• Be responsible for contract documentation, statutory submission document production and submission, and Government discussions leading to approval.
• To keep abreast of the latest software enhancements to increase productivity and to share this knowledge with one’s colleagues.
• To actively strive to improve your skills in design by looking for opportunities to further prove yourself whenever you see such opportunities arise. Always discuss and agree any such initiatives with the Director before proceeding.
