The PayPal HR team is looking for a top-notch HR Business Partner to support their Chandler and Scottsdale offices. With approximately 2000 employees primarily in PayPal’s Global Customer Operations function, this person will build relationships with managers, employees and site leaders while liaising with the global HR team and Legal teams. Your responsibilities will be broad: employee relations, people manager development, site engagement and D&I activities, performance management, organizational realignment and analytics.

Reporting to the San Jose-based Senior Director, HR Business Partner for Business Affairs, the successful candidate will partner across a broad spectrum of HR disciplines including Employee Relations, Talent & Development, Total Rewards and Diversity & Inclusion to drive business outcomes against the execution of our global HR and local site-level priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach managers on individual & team performance and professionalism
  • Partner closely with legal team on routine & complex employee relations issues
  • Support HR Centers of Excellence (Talent, Total Rewards) in leading local manager training, employee on-boarding and site engagement activities
  • Champion of site engagement by partnering with site leaders on culture activity, diversity & inclusion initiatives and solutions to enhance the employee experience
  • Together with the business-aligned HRBPs, you’ll support business reorganizations and restructures
  • Deliver anecdotal and analytical insights
  • Develop and document processes to establish a site HR Business Partner playbook

Experience:

  • This candidate will have 7+ years of relevant experience.  You don’t need experience in all of the areas above, but you must have strong background in US employee relations
  • The successful candidate will have experience supporting a large customer operations / customer service center
  • Experience with SalesForce and Workday is preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent experience
