As a part of a total end-to-end solution development, the software application engineer works with Agilent's customers and colleagues in the China Solutions team to develop customized reporting functionality across multiple Agilent platforms that enable Agilent's customers to comply with regulatory requirements and meet their own workflow needs. In this exciting new role you will have a direct impact on Agilent's market success by developing an integrated reporting capability that will make Agilent solutions more competitive and differentiated. You will also provide local China feedback on Agilent's software products to the R&D team as input for future software development。

Key roles and responsibilities:

• Work with application chemists and the solution product manager to integrate data across Agilent products (GC/MS, LC/MS and spectroscopy and analytical instruments) and develop customized reporting according to local regulatory requirements and customer workflows.
• Manage customized PCDLs (Personal Compound Database and Library) & customized libraries based on local regulations and workflow, for example, new materials, forensic market needs, etc.
• Provide feedback to Agilent's software R&D team for future software development and act as a bridge between China customers and software R&D.
• Provide local technical support to internal technical experts and key customers.
