We are looking for a Software Test Manager (m/f/d) who will take ownership of the strategic direction and long term vision of our ATE SW. With your strong background in ATE and semiconductor test and understanding of customers and market needs you will contribute to continue the success of the Advantest V93000 ATE platform.

In the role of a SW Test Manager (m/f/d) for the V93k platform you will

• Define the overall test strategy in close cooperation with other stakeholders within the V93 R&D organization.
• Lead a team of test engineers working in close cooperation with our product owners and scrum teams
• Become active part of our program management team and participate in internal status reporting meetings
• Coach and drive our test engineers in the different scrum teams to define, implement and run necessary test activities
• Identify hot spots of low quality in software and drives counter activities
• Analyze currently used tools and standardize them to ensure as much as possible a common approach in all teams
• Collect and provide trend- and current status information from our SmarTest development processes and help to ensure the availability and configuration of the required test systems for SW R&D
• Continuously provide status information on quality level of release
• Run/drive trainings for test engineers (e.g. concurrency, exploratory testing, Dojos, tools usage, ...)
• Being a recognized test expert in R&D who is actively asked for help in the area of SW testing
• Continuously improve test effectiveness and test automation
• Work closely with the agile testing community to get new ideas but also to share our best practices and ensure continuous improvement within the test area
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure strong alignment of Quality assurance strategy and test strategy including streamlined QA reports and test reports
