Software Tool Developer Responsibilities: Contribute to the maintenance, improvement and testing of our existing development environment as part of an international team Maintain and create development tools in a variety of different languages, in a mainly Linux-based environment Analyze and fix bugs in our tools infrastructure Navigate a large code base and understand our custom-built tools stack Keep in touch with our German clients and team members Expectations: Advanced Linux usage Independence and flexibility Test-driven approach to development Knowledge of at least one scripting language (preferred: Python) Willingness to learn different scripting languages (Tcl, Perl) Knowledge of at least one version control system (preferred: Git) Written and spoken proficiency in English or German Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g.: Jenkins, GitLab) Advantages: Experience with Tcl, Perl, Bash Experience with C++ (GCC) Experience with build systems (GNU Make) Knowledge of ClearCase Knowledge of a second foreign language (English/German) Pet Projects (e.g.: on Github) Development experience on Windows What we offer: Work on challenging tasks Be part of a young and agile team Work in a pleasant working environment Job stability Opportunity to gain international experience Professional training programmers Organization: Advanta Company: evosoft Hungary Szamitastechnikai Kft.
