Job Description

Job Duties:

 

Demand Forecast :

· Conduct demand planning efforts across regions, present key findings, recommend forecasts, and coordinate PO placement.

· Support new product development (NPD) launch and product life cycle management activities.

· Prepare demand plans, forecast accuracy, changes and trends to stakeholders

· Act as a global process facilitator to ensure seamless processes, guideline and training for all areas of operational planning. Assist in developing key planning strategies, such as global supply, inventory, obsolescence management and working capital.

 

Data Analysis & Business Intelligence:

· Conduct business analysis and recommend changes to reports and processes as necessary to streamline supply chain processes and activity in support of continuous improvement.

· Develop metrics/dashboards and other reporting tools to provide visibility for driving decision making

 

Logistics & Inventory Management :

· Explore solutions with third party logistics providers and distribution centers (DCs) to minimize costs and maximize data integrity within the facilities and our systems within prescribed business processes. Global inventory balancing support across ACCO’s regional locations.

 

Process Improvements & System Transition :

· Participate in regional planning sessions and in a variety of cross-functional teams focused on planning and business process improvements.

· Assist with system transition and reporting training to Supply Chain staffs in Asia.

 

 

Requirements:

· Bachelor degree holder in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management. Master degree or MBA preferred.

· Member of CIPS, APICS or equivalent is an advantage.

· Minimum 3 years of experience involving APAC outsourced manufacturing partners in multiple regional distribution centers, i.e. European, US, and Asia.

· Broad knowledge of Supply Chain practices and procedures is required including Sales and Operations Planning, Postponement, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Purchasing and Logistics Management.

· Experience in demand planning and forecasting is highly desirable, preferably in retail industries, and supporting multiple sales organizations.

· Experience in regional Sales and Operations Planning processes in a matrix organization structure.

· In-depth knowledge of manufacturing, materials management (Push and Pull systems), S&OP, forecasting and inventory planning process, business process management.

· With ERP experience e.g. Oracle or SAP is an advantage

· Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, good creativity as well as highly self-motivated

· Strong organizational and project management skills as well as good communicate skill Able to work independently in a fast-paced changing environment

· Excellent oral and written English and Mandarin.

· Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
