Job Description

Client-facing role, supporting the Senior Mortgage staff to increase effectiveness and productivity and bring new business by providing a broader regional coverage and act as the liaison for originating, closing and monitoring of mortgages. Responsible for sales support of the mortgage banking activity across a specified region. Manage the day to day regional pipeline and act as the key resource for both, clients and internal partners throughout the mortgage lifecycle. Responsible for mortgage origination on a limited basis.Collect all documentation and information required for loan processing, appraisals, insurance, and vesting. Serve as the primary contact for the client for the end-to end process (from application to closing). Act as contact for KYC team and administer all requests related to the mortgage and loan activity. Effectively communicate and provide support related to mortgage solutions to clients, advisors and internal colleagues.Provide sales and administrative support to internal partners on the regional mortgage pipeline, mortgage activity, and portfolio loans. Solves unusual problems that are low/moderate risk in nature within the context of established policies and procedures. Participate in regional / team meetings, clients events, and client meetings to develop relationships with internal colleagues, advisors, and clients to drive new referrals and boost mortgage production. Assist clients in the selection of products, negotiate rates with clients, and take applications on a limited basis. Serve as direct regional backup to the Senior Mortgage staff.

Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. MBA is preferred. NMLS registration is required 5-7 years of total work experience preferred; experience in mortgage, lending, or private banking is preferred.
