About this opportunity

The Sr. Manager, Data Science and Program Analytics will be responsible for leading a team to synthesize large amounts of data using advanced data analytic and statistical tools. She/he will partner with Global Marketing, Sales & Marketing across the Americas region, Finance, and Investor Relations to make decisions that influence the Americas regional strategy.

In this role, you will…

•Lead a team of analytics professionals

• Create and generate key ongoing reports, such as a bi-weekly management reporting package that includes relevant and insightful reporting and commentary on actual financial results and on variances to plan and/or forecast.
• Develop key insights on customer acquisition, retention, end-user demographics, seasonality, and geography by customer segment, channel, and product
• Oversee analytic support for development of the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan.
• Oversee analytics support to guide delivery of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to include the assessment and evaluation of intervention actions. Measure impact of promotions, clinical education courses, special events, sales activity, and trade show presence on customer behavior, including developing the methodology and creating processes to capture data
• Develop the Marketing Demand Forecast
• Partner with the Sales Operations Reporting & Analytics Director to improve existing reporting and ideas for new reporting that would provide business insight across the channels
• Assess business trends and opportunities
• Other duties may be assigned, practices and procedures.

In this role, you’ll need …

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technology or business field. MBA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of analytical / statistical experience.
• Strong quantitative analysis and data mining skills
• Experience and strength in identifying insights from data and formulating a story
• Experience working with cross functional business partners
• Experience formally managing others
• Strong experience in building models in MS Excel required
• Forecasting experience
• Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. SQL, Business Objects)
• Excellent communication skills to clearly present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
