Looking for a new member to join the Asset Servicing Data Governance team to support the implementation and ongoing management of a data management framework for the business. The candidate will report to the Chief Data Officer for Asset Servicing.

 

 

The candidate will assist in development of and promulgation of data governance policies and standards across the Asset Servicing business. This will require engaging with key stakeholders and SMEs across the organization, providing data expertise to them, documenting the data universe of that function and helping the business navigate governance requirements. Specifically, the candidate would be expected to lead various data quality work streams:  guiding SME’s on identifying critical processes, support the identification of data elements that need governance, create quality rules that need to be enforced, work with technology teams to encode the business rules and manage the performance of the business rules once implemented. The candidate should also be able to produce dashboards and reports that showcase the state of data quality within asset servicing. To be successful, the candidate will need to have a working knowledge of tools like Collibra, IDQ, Informatica Data Catalog, PowerBI. Training will be provided. In addition to Data Quality, the candidate will also have the opportunity to have one of the data management framework disciplines - Data Usage, Data Security, Records Management, Data Architecture and Data Analytics as an areas of focus, assist the discipline leader in creating an end vision and define roadmaps to deliver the vision, write requirement documentation and drive development and adoption with technology and operations teams to materialize the vision. Candidates should have an understanding of asset servicing operations and associated technologies used in the support of the business. Candidates should have strong data analytical skills and a keen interest in data management. Additionally, candidates must possess strong presentation skills, be self-motivated and prepared to work with minimal supervision in the offshore location and have good ability to rapidly develop rapport with the onshore team to gain trust and confidence. In this role, candidates must be able to co-ordinate and work with multiple service organizations and stakeholders across Enterprise Data Strategy, Product, Technology, Operations and other groups to deliver the expected outcomes.
