POSITION'S DESCRIPTION
As you will be directly attached to the Creative Director, your main tasks will be as follows:
- Research, study and identify trends that will define the season as well as the behaviour of our clients, propose themes, design mood boards, etc.
- Make visual researches of shapes related to the collection brief
- Make sketches and create files for materials, colours and accessories while taking into account its technicality and cost.
- Sourcing and development of materials, research of fabrics, shapes, colours, etc.
- Creating technical drawings (technical files, hand sketches, indications, measurement tables and comfortable with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Follow up on all design processes and fittings. Collaborate with the pattern maker in the development of prototypes, and follow up on all alterations before production.
- Confirm final samples and register them in the company’s app.
- Throughout the process of creation and innovation, the designer will be constantly on the lookout for the latest trends.


REQUIRED PROFILE
You have at least five years' experience in the women's fashion industry and in a similar job position.
- You are creative and curious, you follow trends regularly and you are proactive.
You are organised, systematic, flexible, able to work independently, fast and have a very good team spirit.
- Ideally educated in fashion design and pattern making. You have an excellent command of Illustrator and Photoshop. You are proficient in creating and visualising.
- You have a good understanding of materials and are able to find your sources.
- You have a sensitive eye for new trends, a strong sense for fashion culture, creativity and attention to detail.
- Fluent or comfortable working in English is highly recommended. Chinese is plus.
- You have good interpersonal skills and you know how to communicate with people involved in the textile industry.
