Industrial Engineers plan plant, production facilities and equipment layouts, determines the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow, and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. Develops metrics to measure equipment and factory capacity and output, and to identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may plan and schedule training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
This job requisition is to seek for strong candidates for TD FAIE, responsible for TD tools capacity model buildup, analyze and optimize actual tool performance to develop own TD POR through technology node transitions. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Build up and evolve accurate capacity planning models
• Using statistical analysis to maintain and audit TD tools capacity information
• Work with TD ENG to design tool modeling, MOR flow, and Contingency list collateral.
• Doc2 business process development and provide data support for evaluation tool selection.
• Work with PE/TD for XOR development and gap closure.
• Provide support to SEG, pathfinding and TOR.
• Interface with factory/TD about wafer/tool time/capacity allocation.
• Evaluating scenarios representing changes in MOR/TOR, performing what if scenarios, and partnering with TD and factory to understand the impact of the changes .


Qualifications

Qualifications and Experiences
• BS, or MS in Industrial Engineering or engineering field; PE background will be a plus.
• Preferred TD IE working experience in memory factory.
• Candidate must have demonstrated a track record of excellence in creative problem solving, capacity/capital management and manufacturing process optimization for cost and productivity.
• Advanced data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills
• Advanced understanding of area tool configurations, capabilities, processes, and mechanical functionality
• Advanced understanding of manufacturing science (scheduling, inventory management, capacity planning, etc.)
