Job Description
THE COMPANY :
- Land & Property developer focus in luxurious residential properties & shopping malls in Myanmar Yangon & other Asian cities
- We are looking for TECHNICAL MANAGER (civil & structural) – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Good knowledge gained in real estate design management
- Manage the design consultants (foreign and local) for effective and economic design
- Manage the design team and site team to produce effective design and to meet project targets
- Work with other Project Team members to coordinate design and construction
- Design, coordinate and supervise Site Investigation, Foundation, Piling, ELS works
- Design, coordinate and supervise drainage and traffic works
- Establish construction schedules, sequence and method of working
- Negotiate with authority to obtain permits (e.g. HPBC) and submission approval (e.g. EIA)
- Ensure compliance with government design and safety guidelines/standards
- Ensure permanent works/temporary works are designed in accordance with MNBC for submission to HPBC/YCDC
- Coordinate with Contractors to solve site design issues
- Monitor the design development status to meet construction progress on site
- Possess expert knowledge on Structural software such as ETAP and SAFE for checking consultant's works
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Should be a register or Chartered civil/structural engineer
- Good technical background with minimum 20 years of solid design experience in Structure and Foundation design for buildings
- Minimum 5 years' experience gained in China, Macau or overseas
- Familiar with the current design software such as Etabs and SAFE
- Familiar with the submission procedures and requirements of Local Authorities
- Good project management experience and supervision skill
- Good communication skill in English
- Work based in Myanmar Yangon with 1-2 trips to Hong Kong every month
- Accommodation provided or housing allowance
- 12 round trip air ticket provided per year
