Colleague Services Lead India is expected to drive the HR shared services function for the company. This would include standard HR Operations activities for the company covering multiple entities in India. Drive towards building a self-service culture & continuous process improvement. The person is expected to develop self as well as team members. The key activities are list as follows.

Job Description

Human Resources Shared Services and Operations

Understand each policy & process in detail

Provide guidance to Colleague Services team and others on policy related matters

Drive Process continuous improvement

Monitor team performance and ensure the team is functioning within the agreed SLA

Assist in resolving complex concerns with regards to employee life cycle management

Administration of employee benefits like, PF, Gratuity, Superannuation, Insurance endorsements

QRMS (Service Now) management: Manage SLA’s, escalations, detractors etc

Oversee day-to-day HR operations and establish and streamline methods, systems and procedures for the purpose of maximizing efficiency

Lead digitization, automation and process improvement initiatives

Collaborate with the leadership team and establish relationships to fully understand their objectives

Take lead in all Internal & External audits and collaborate with different stakeholders in identifying process risks and implementation of mitigation strategies

Responsible for HR Systems and data integrity. Drive data checks on HRIS systems (Workday) to ensure 100% data Integrity.

Documentation and distribution of SOP's and ensuring all team members are effectively trained

Partnership with C&B and Broker for Insurance renewal

Be involved on operational and payroll related actions in case of International mobility

Payroll

Ensure 100% accuracy and timely payouts

Review payroll inputs, reports & reconciliations

Ensure 100% compliance of payroll related compliance of PF, PT, LWF, ESIC etc.

Ensure payroll related queries are timely resolved.

Ensuring staff costs are properly forecasted and aligned with Finance record

Ensure stocks related income and tax is timely reported

Compliance & Other Activities

Ensure all HR related compliance are met

Partner with country Compliance committee to ensure delivery of 100% compliance for HR related compliances

Spearhead statutory Audits (HR Function related) internal & external

MIS Reporting as per agreed timelines

Support Finance and other stake holders for preparing the Company Budget for salaries and related costs

Required Skill Set

  • Minimum degree, preferably Masters
  • 8 - 10 years of relevant HR and payroll experience in MNC environment
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team (3 or more direct reports)
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience in stakeholder management and working in complex matrix organization
  • Disciplined, self-driven, process driven and results oriented
  • Critical thinking, problem solving and judgment skills
  • Ability to lead and deliver excellent customer care is essential
