We are looking for a Technical Writer (Telecom area) in Shanghai.

Qualifications:

1. IT or technology background, or English major, preferably at least a bachelor degree in a related area.

2. Work experience in a technology area.

3. Have a basic understanding of documentation development.

4. Have the will to become a professional technical writer in the long term.

5. Have the will to drive a task or assignment to perfection.

6. English communication skills, at least in writing, with experience of English writing.

Additional skills:

1. Familiar with the following tools: Arbortext Editor, Adobe FrameMaker, and Adobe Illustrator.

2. Familiar with the following concepts and knowledge: DITA, Single-sourcing, Content reusing, Microsoft Schema, XML, SGML, Agile, Scrum, and Content Management Systems (CMS).

3. Studied abroad in an English speaking country.
