Position Description: We are looking for Test engineers with a background in functional testing for a position in Lenovo’s DCG Product Assurance team. The role will require experience with new feature validation on servers, options, enterprise software and server OS’s. Testing will include error injection, using test scripts and automation, data capture, and assisting with debug efforts. This role will be responsible for execution test plans and test cases indented to ensure quality delivery of new Lenovo ThinkSystem servers and FW functions. Applicants must have a strong background in one or more of the following: UEFI, systems management features, networking, or external storage. The applicants should have some experience in several of the following areas: error injection, compatibility testing, security testing, protocol level validation (I2C, IPMI, Redfish, SNMP, IPv4/6, FC, iSCSI, FCoE, etc.) good and negative path testing. The role requires the ability to apply this knowledge to execute test plans, and to find and document defects.
