At the dawn of the outbreak of global Electrical Vehicle market, the Business Unit, Siemens Distribution Systems, has setup a dedicated global R&D team to develop EV charging portfolio. The test engineer will be responsible for EVSE related test and validation to meet global EVSE product development target. Working location:上海市闵行区天宁路

What are my responsibilities?

• Responsible for hardware & software test/validation planning, execution and reporting by working in internal test lab or with 3rd party test lab.

• Solid understanding of IEC/UL/GBT EVSE related testing standard and procedure. Responsible for the development and customization of test plan for related products.

• Support hardware/software debug, regression test and component qualification.

• Lead production test planning, test equipment development and qualification.

• Responsible for internal lab daily management to meet ISO17025 and Siemens lab EHS policy. 

• Actively participation of EVSE related standard committee to make sure engagement and

influence.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering, Automation or equivalents is preferred. • Bachelor degree with more than 3 years experiences in product test/validation.

• Prior working experience in EVSE related industry is highly preferred.

• Prior working experience in 3rd party test agency is highly preferred (SGS, TUV, DEKRA…)

• Prior working experience in PCBA debug is highly preferred.

• Prior working experience in test equipment development is highly preferred.

• Prior working experience in LabVIEW development is highly preferred.

• Prior working experience in software test is preferred (test case design, simulator design,

performance test).

• Familiar with EVSE related standards and relationship with the standard committee activities.

• Fluent in written and oral English and Chinese

• Be conscientious and responsible, can work under pressure.
