We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast paced environment of client PC, This position will be responsible for Thunderbolt hardware design and enabling of client PC products. you need to be highly motivated and detail oriented while showing highest standards of responsibilities, The responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Participate in design and development of client PC products from concept to mass production.
- Be able to identify and prioritize Thunderbolt related issues. Drive resolution of cross-functional issues including those related to architecture (performance, power consumption, thermal behavior), production (quality, failure analysis, manufacturing), and development (schematic design, PCB layout, and overall system integration). Good ability for issue summary and reporting.
- Represent the EE team in a cross-functional team environment. Helping factory with EE related issues and driving post ramp quality issues.
- As partner of our OEM/ODM, Be able to manage vendor EE resources for better technical support.

Qualifications

- Bachelor degree with 8+ years of experience with system-level design including circuit design, system bring-up, integration, and debug, or Master Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience of Thunderbolt board/device design and implement is a big plus
- Knowledge of firmware/software development is a plus
- Knowledge of processor architecture, digital circuit design, high speed signal design and debug (especially on discrete DDR) and various communications protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, USB,PCIe, DP, HDMI, MIPI, I2S, etc.
- Professional in tools like OrCAD, Allegro for schematic capture and layout routing
- Skillful to use scope, logic analyzer, and other HW equipment for signal capture and issue debug
- Knowledge of mixed-signal board-level design
- Experience partnering with software teams to define and implement firmware, drivers and algorithms
