Key Responsibilities/职位描述

• Manage and deploy the Mars GFSC training and capabilities strategy, leading the development and delivery of the annual training plan and programs. This includes: customized in-person and virtual training events, ‘train the trainer’ programs, and independent and accredited partner-led training courses in line with the agreed strategy and stated aims. 
• Lead the exploration of new opportunities, bringing external insights and knowledge of the latest thinking in digital learning solutions ensuring up to date information on the use and application of new technology and techniques compatible with Mars IT and Learning Management System.
• Lead collaboration activities with internal and external training providers, subject matter experts and the GFSC training steering team to ensure all courses are aligned with specific needs and quality requirements, developed in a timely manner and executed per the GFSC training plan.
• Lead GFSC’s training program expert networks and relationships, establishing and maintaining critical connections with global external partners, Mars segment and functional representatives, Mars Corporate Quality, Mars University, Scientific and Regulatory Affairs (SRA), Mars Digital, and science teams.
• Establish and implement metrics to monitor and measure the impact of training initiatives, generate insights, undertake continuous evaluation against stated objectives and enabling and assuring continuous improvement against all projects.
• Partner with Mars U and other internal segment and functional stakeholders to ensure training program and event support broader Mars Q&FS purpose and strategy
• Manage and deliver all training programs within the allocated GFSC training budget
• Responsible for the development and management of Mars GFSC training center experience on site at the Mars GFSC and the Mars GFSC website.
• Partner with the partnerships and collaborations team to ensure external engagement and training strategy support building capability and external research efforts and priorities
• Partner with broader C&T team to manage regional speaking opportunities and external engagement activities
• Partner with GRSC and One Mars CA globally and locally to execute against corporate reputation moments and pillars.
• Manage the design and build of promotional materials and tools to support training deployment and drive uptake including interactive PDFs, flyers, and guidebooks

 

Qualifications/任职条件

Education & Professional Qualifications    

•      A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline such as food science, microbiology, chemistry, or similar.

•     At least four years’ experience designing and delivering technical training (in-person training and remote/virtual), preferably in the fields of food science or food safety

•     Experience or a qualification in learning and training design is desirable

•     Good knowledge and practical experience in:

o     Functional/technical skills IT systems

o     Using Articulate Storyline and/or Adobe Captivate

o     Using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and/or Photoshop

o     Video editing

Knowledge / Experience      

•      Project management experience is preferred

•     Excellent networker, builds rapport easily and is skilled in delivering projects through others

•     Evidence in learning design for example, a portfolio of learning solutions

•     Experience in data reporting, analytics and insights

•     Knowledge of platforms used to deploy virtual instructor led training 

•     Excellent oral and written English and Chinese

•     Creative, flexible and enjoys working in a complex, rapidly changing environment
