Schedule shipping orders
- Prepare shipping bills, specifies shipping methods, type of packaging and the shipping route.
- Prepare and provide all documents required for dispatch (dispatch notice, freight letters, movement certificate).
- Monitor the timeline of order processing, initiates troubleshooting measures e.g. organize special transports.
- Ensure correct Just-In-Sequence truck loading and constant costumer contact (Mercedes-Benz car plants).
Coordinate internal transport of goods
- Design loading and unloading Points.
- Develop and ensure storing of goods in predefined storage locations.
- Planning of transport tests.
Clarification of Data and manage transport requirements
- Check and clarify data and bill differences with customer.
- Clarify incorrect documents with receipts, bills and documents.
- Manage availability of empty engine racks, ensure first-in first-out and prepare transportation demand forecast.
- Education: Vocational Secondary School or higher (University degree) preferably with logistical background
- Experience: Several years in logistic related functions. Process planning, material management, project management, transport management etc.
- Language knowledge: Polish and German, some level of English is preferred.
- Computer skills: SAP, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint.
- Self-reliance, results orientation, ability to work in a team and in an autonomous way.
- Willingness for business travels to Germany during ramp up.
- Experience in greenfield is not required but ‘nice-to-have’.
- Proactive nature, highly motivated, able to work flexibly, quickly and accurately to tight deadlines.
