PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

 

SAP Business Network has been identified as one of the four strategic growth areas for SAP by our executive board. Our vision is to elevate our intelligent enterprise to the “Network of Intelligent Enterprises”. We build on a strong and leading cloud portfolio, together with other innovations, all on top of the SAP Cloud Platform. In our diverse and globally dispersed team, we are looking for talents from program management, product management, development, architecture, and operations. More specifically, our team is responsible for building the common foundational network platform for SAP Business Network. Our vision is to provide common master data foundation and frictionless network onboarding experiences to our customer and scale the business network.  

We are looking for software engineers with a strong User Interface development background in the cloud native environment to help us build business network master data and network onboarding collaboration applications to establish the next generation of SAP unified business network. you will be involved from designing, coding, testing, quality assurance and operating the complex product features in massive customer production environment.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a developer you will be responsible for:

• Design and develop SAP Fiori applications in SAP Cloud Platform which will be used by real users.
• Collaborate and innovate with product owner, architects and other engineering teams to develop and deliver qualified applications
• Collaborate with backend developers to drive and deliver high performing applications with superior user experiences
• Collaborate with development teams distributed in different locations including internationally.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Good team player
• University degree in Software Engineering/Computer Sciences/Information System/Management Science or related field
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a required
• Experience in using versioning control system git, VS Code or other development IDEs
• Communication skills that include the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Ability to work independently
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Confident communication in English is an a plus (written and spoken)
• Knowledge with security in cloud environment is a plus
• Skills of node.js, SAP UI5, Vue, AngularJS or other UI Frameworks is a plus

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Preferred with minimal working experience two years
