In detail we are looking for a person to support our agile toolset.
The Jira/Confluence Administrator would be responsible for administering a medium instance of Atlassian's Jira and Confluence hosted in the cloud. A candidate in this role would also be responsible for operational excellence around these services used by our cross-discipline teams and managers. You will work in a team of Jira / Confluence experts.

Responsibilities include setting up new projects, developing role-based access control, managing workflow schemes, screen schemes, custom fields, custom reporting, and gadget integration. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative environment.

In this role you will:


  • Administer projects in Jira and Confluence to meet teams and users needs
  • Work with our product teams to define workflows and project requirements, working together with the system administration team on maintaining and improving our Atlassian Environment
  • Development and roll out of a role-based permission scheme
  • Improve the user experience around Atlassian services, this may include over-the-shoulder training
  • Develop and maintain operations tools
  • Install and configure Atlassian components and related plug-ins and add-ons, create workflow/reports/dashboards
  • Research what's new in the marketplace and recommend add-ons and integrations to meet requirements
  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders for new requests and enhancements

Studies: Computer science or alternatively mathematics, engineering or science, supplemented by experience in computer science or similar
Language skills: Very good communication skills and proficiency in English and German
IT skills: Experiences with MS-Office
Soft skills: Reliability, dependability, customer orientation, and motivation to respond to requests quickly, provide user-friendly solutions, friendly nature, and know how to wow people
Further skills: passionate technician, who loves to consult his or her colleagues, familiar with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), Driving licence B category

This is a part-time position, based in our office in Stuttgart Wangen. We have a fantastic team with people from all over the world. We encourage frequent collaboration and pairing across disciplines. English and German are the working languages.
