Job Description
We are building software platform for future vehicles, which will be using the Linux operating system. A key part is quality assessment and quality assurance of Linux to show that and how the software meets our quality expectations.
What awaits you?
- You as a working student (f/m/x) will contribute to this Linux quality assessment interacting with the larger open-source community.
- Furthermore, you will apply static analysis tools to the kernel source code and data mining techniques to development process artefacts.
- You will also develop tools to improve the kernel development process and workflows.
- Additionally, you will contribute your work to the kernel community and related open-source projects.
- You will also present your work at an international Linux conference.
- Documenting and summarizing your investigation and insights, fitting into a larger picture of quality assessment is also part of your responsibility.
What do we expect?
- Studies of Economics, Engineering or a comparable course of studies.
- First practical experience in using Unix shell (bash).
- First practical experience with the interaction in an open-source project desirable.
- Knowledge of kernel source code and build tools, static and dynamic analysis techniques and techniques for data mining and data analytics desirable.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Analytical and strategic thinking.
- Independent work style.
