Job Description
The Regional TradeLens Business Development Consultant (Blockchain Global Trade Digitization) is directly involved in lead generation, client-facing sales support and client engagement activities (e.g. identification/engagement of key influencers and use case consortium formation and management), along with other sales and business development efforts to accelerate the adoption and commercialization of the Global Trade Digitization solution within the region. This includes engaging with key clients as well as ensuring a go-to-market system to support the extended ecosystem.

Responsibilities also include supporting the development of programs, partnerships and new Blockchain syndicates by leveraging expertise across the IBM Blockchain group. Your objectives will include identifying, brainstorming, and exploring go-to-market activities to engage the entire ecosystem in the Global Trade Digitization solution.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Global Trade, Supply Chain Logistics, Transportation or similar industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling solutions to Supply Chain Line of Business
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in sales and/or business development



Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

Industry background of supply chain, transportation, travel or retail
