You will be the responsible engineer for delivering Power Management (PMS) related engineering for Oil, Gas & Chemicals Systems projects in Energy Industries, Singapore. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects on time, within budget, and in line with contract specifications and relevant quality and safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities

• Making technical recommendations in the Electrical Controls and Monitoring Systems design, testing, installation, and commissioning phases of projects, enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.
• Project Engineering Ownership through the entire System engineering life cycle from Project initiation to FAT, SAT and plant commissioning.
• Resolving technical issues both remotely and on domestic and international customer sites
• Develop and programming of Control system’s logics in accordance to the client’s requirement specifications and FDS.
• Participate in both hardware and software testing, and taking lead in performing FAT with customer
• Provides technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities
• Travelling is required during site commissioning and durations may be up to 2 months, depending on Job requirements.
• Supporting Project managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards as well as technical details, costs, and deliverables for sales proposals.

Your background

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering or similar field.
• More than 3 years of Project Engineer experience for Power Management Systems (PMS).
• Sound knowledge of IEC61850/GOOSE protocol with Load Shedding and Load Sharing experience
• Systems Interfacing with ABB Electrical Relays (REFxxx)
• Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
• A collaborative approach to working, demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills.
