This is an opportunity to participate in the Cloud Operations group to innovate and expand NetSuite’s solutions and business globally through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

 

Responsibilities\:

·        Work with the Program Manager to foster a strong partnership with the internal cloud services groups, enabling a smooth migration of products and services onto the cloud.

·        Provide the required hands-on process development and project management, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.

·        Work with the Cloud service provider to support software engineers, network engineers, Ops team, DevOps and other engineering teams to migrate services onto an open cloud platform.

·        Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders and senior management.

·        Perform administration tasks of cloud services to manage users, groups, security rules, and resources such as compute power, storage, networking and other shared services.

·        Apply tools to monitor, report and manage cloud services usage. Enforce standards, rules, guidelines and best practices over the use of cloud services across multiple groups.

 

Qualifications and Skills\:

·        3 years of experience in leading/managing enterprise level IT projects with demonstrated expertise in large cloud migration projects.

·        3 years of industry experience in technical subjects such as cloud computing.

·        3 years of experience as a software engineer or a system administrator.

·        Must have excellent oral and written skills to communicate technical subjects.

·        Must have excellent presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Project and MS PowerPoint.

·        Must have hands on experience with collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.

·        Capable of executing multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic work environment with varying assignments and priorities.

·        BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields. Master’s degree in Business Management preferred.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
