KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oracle NEXT & Insight team comprises of top-notch professionals with MBA, PHD and other advanced degrees from top rated institutions.  Team members have typically joined us from the leading management and digital consultancies as well as technology companies and share a passion for the business impact of technology.

 

Oracle NEXT & Insight gives you the opportunity to\:  

·        Be at the centre of Oracle’s and its customers digital transformation by working on the strategic customer co-innovation and cloud transformation opportunities across the Asia Pacific region and beyond;  

·        Act as an advisor to Oracle’s sales leadership team in shaping and executing the go-to-market strategy and the sales programs;

·        Build on and apply the skill-set you harnessed in your previous experiences to innovate and transform how our customers do business using the power of emerging technologies like Cloud, AI & Machine Learning and Blockchain;

·        Develop new technology skill-set and leading practice knowledge (e.g., cloud economics) that are essential to succeed in the future outcome economy; and

·        Manage your own schedule with a flexible and more predictable working structure, allowing a sustainable work-life balance while enjoying an attractive and highly competitive compensation.

 

Specific Responsibilities\:

 

·     Lead multi-LOB engagement teams with specialists from sales, business development, solution engineering, consulting, and other product specialist teams to help shape and drive large or strategic technology opportunities.

·     Participate in and/ or ensure quality in customer engagements with the most strategic customers and deliver increased customer satisfaction and better opportunities for Oracle.  

·     Provide direct deal support by leveraging knowledge of IT specific challenges and solutions, business consulting skills, design thinking, and analytical abilities in identifying key value drivers for customer CXOs, assessing digital maturities and developing business value propositions. 

·     Integrate knowledge of latest management thinking, latest industry, market and technology trends, strategic operational and IT agendas to define strategy, solution architecture and roadmap with actionable business value communication. 

·     Contribute to team’s thought leadership by constantly synthesizing the customer experiences into content and methodologies that can be leveraged.  

·     Demonstrate outstanding analytical and problem solving skills, and strong management and/or digital consulting skills to influence thinking or gain acceptance of multiple customer constituencies.

 

 

 

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

·     Several years within a management consulting firm with a strategy and/or digital focus\: digital practice in top-tier strategy consultancies as a preference

·     Additional industry experience with leading technology companies in a lead functional/IT/strategy role

·     Strong academics are mandatory e.g. MBA (preference from a top business school), MSc, PhD  

·     Experience and credibility operating at CXO stakeholder levels

·     Fluency in English and a local business language is a must  

·     Exceptional problem solving combined with strong interpersonal skills, proven by first-hand work experience   

·     Outstanding oral and written presentation communication skills  

·     Financial modelling, benchmarking and quantitative skills and experience developing and defending large-scale capital appropriation requests  

·     Passion for general Digital / Software / IT fields

Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.!|!
