Job Description
OBJECTIVE
• Provide agile coaching centered around continuous improvement, Lean change management for a large, distributed, product development team.
• Provide support in the facilitation of change initiatives to support attainment of business objectives across the initiative.
• Work closely with workstream leaders, program managers, and squads to build and reinforce the Agile mindset, adopt organizational values, and to embed Agile principles into their day to day work. Examples of initiatives Coaches could support include\: Improving OKR Adoption, ensuring efficiencies and selecting and rolling out new tools to support workstreams.
TASKS
• Work closely with the entire design and delivery team to conduct agile initiatives across organization and within assigned area of focus
• Work with leaders to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and define improvement initiatives in support of organizational objectives
• Lead process improvement initiatives with quantifiable results
• Assist the Agile delivery teams in self-managing their work and coach them towards self-sufficiency
• Lead and inspire a team with diverse backgrounds, skills, and passions
• Provide thought leadership by participating in Communities of Practice, Lunch & Lunch forums, Lean Coffees, Hack Week activities, and other workshops as needed
• Own communications across internal resources and leadership
• Facilitate quarterly assessments of teams to measure change adoption and attainment of key results
• Cultivate a continuous learning environment delivering education and training for the enablement of effective Agile delivery teams
REQUIRED SKILLS
• • Deep background in coaching and developing people and tribes, and in influencing behavior change towards constant improvement
• Hands-on coaching experience in many Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, Nexus Scrum and SAFe
• Practical experience in an Agile role prior to coaching
• Adept at coaching executives, with experience with agile portfolios and coaching business agility
• Knowledge of Agile Engineering practices including Enterprise Architecture, DevOps (CI-CD, Test Driven Development, BDD, etc)
• Intellectually curios, possesses a love of learning new skills and concepts to influence change
• Innovative and creative thinkers
• Uses facilitation skills to achieve alignment up, down and across the organization
• Ability to assess the change impact, conduct impact analyses and monitor change readiness.
• Comfort and confidence working independently with the ability to take initiative
• While experience is always valued greater than certification, candidates possessing the following certifications or having attended the following trainings / invested deeply in learning the concepts behind the certifications, in addition to experience would be an added bonus\:
o Management 3.0 Foundations
o ICAgile ICP-BAF
o ICAgile ICP-CAT
o ICAgile ICP-ACC
o Professional Scrum Master II or III

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
