An Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Principal Consultant is expected to possess strong infrastructure and consulting skills and contribute to the infrastructure setup, installation, configuration and support.

Responsibilities\:

·       Middleware environment administration (Install, configure, migrations, tuning, patching, administration & monitoring) on any middleware platform such as Oracle, IBM WebSphere etc.

·       Ensure the effective daily operation of the production / Middleware applications and provides administrative support for new implementations, upgrades, and migrations

·       Effective collaboration with infrastructure teams, application development teams, testing and release teams

·       Identify and quickly escalate potential issues with solution design, packaged software, client resources, or anything else that impacts your ability to deliver according to expectations

Required Knowledge & skills\:

·       A minimum of 8 years hands-on experience in Infrastructure installation, configuration and support with emphasis on Middleware Infrastructure

·       Experience in provisioning and maintaining environments in any cloud platform like Oracle, Azure, AWS or Google

·       Strong knowledge of Unix and experience in shell scripting

·       Experience with Virtual Machine setup and migration

·       Working knowledge of Docker Containers and Orchestration

·       Working knowledge of Database Server products

·       Team player with strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills

·       Strong consulting skills to work in a professional manner with customer IT and business users

·       Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio

Desired Skills\:

·       Experience administering WebLogic servers is desired

·       Experience administering Oracle SOA Suite is a plus

·       Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Chef, Puppet is an advantage

·       Experience in JavaScript, PERL, NODE.JS from an administration perspective

·       Working knowledge of Storage and Networking from a Cloud platform perspective

·       Exposure to WLST scripting is a plus
